Hero
This module is a full-screen opener with the page's main heading, a video, image or product shot, and a clear next step.
Content options
- Tag: A short label above the heading. Optional.
- Heading: The page's main heading.
- Ticker: Words that rotate at the end of the heading, such as venue types. Optional.
- Body text: A short line or two under the heading.
- Buttons: Up to two.
- Footer text: A small line under the buttons, for a secondary link. Optional.
- Media: A background video with a fallback image, a background image, or an offset product image.
Design options
- Hero type: Background video (default), background image or offset image.
- Background: A brand gradient, charcoal or white, behind an offset image.
- Ticker colour: The colour of the rotating words.
- Ticks: Ticks instead of bullet points in the body text.
- Button styles: A style for the first and second button.
Recommendations
- Do use it on the Hero templates (Hero and Landing Hero), once, as the first module on the page. Its heading is the page's main heading.
- Don't rely on the video to carry the message. It doesn't play on phones, so pick a fallback image that works on its own.
